SELECT SOCCER

The highest level of youth soccer in the U.S.

1.   What is Select soccer?

Select soccer is more competitive than Academy soccer. The training and coaching is carried out by licensed, professional soccer coaches. Compared to Academy soccer, Select soccer requires a greater time and financial commitment from the parents and players and mainly involves TN State League games and tournaments in and around the Middle Tennessee area.  Periodically, away games and tournaments can be in other parts of Tennessee with some teams attending out of state tournaments.

 2.   What age groups does Select soccer apply to?

Boys and Girls with birth years from 2006-2012 or U19-U13 age groups.

3.   Are the genders split?

Yes, the teams are split into boys and girls teams.

4.   How do I know which age group my son/daughter is in?

Age Groups are identified based on birth year. See Below (for 2024-2025 Age Groups)

Select- 2024-2025

Age Group Birth Year
U19 2006
U18 2007
U17 2008
U16 2009
U15 2010
U14 2011
U13 2012

5.   Is Select soccer that different from Academy soccer?

Yes, expectations for the players in Select soccer are higher. There will be two 1.5 hour practices per week with two weekends per month set aside for games and tournaments. Select players are selected through tryouts.

6.   When are Tryouts?

Tryout dates are posted on this website and held around the end of May for Select.

7.   How long is the commitment?

Players are registered through TN State Soccer to play for All-In FC TN for one year. The soccer year is split into two seasons.  The boy's fall season runs from August to late November/early December and the spring girl's season, which runs from February to May. If a player leaves their team part way through their season, the full fee must still be paid before a release is given. The expectation is that soccer is the player’s primary sport and the commitment is for the full season.

8.   How many teams are there in each age group?

It varies between age groups, but usually there will be between one to two teams per gender age group.

9.   Can a player move between teams?

Yes, the coaching staff will make this decision. In Select, players can be moved up, depending on their skill level, their rate of development and their commitment level. Players on a younger team can ‘club pass’ up to a older team, for one or more games, if the coaches agree.

10.   Apart from regular season games, will the players go to tournaments?

Yes, teams will participate in tournaments. More advance teams will typically attend more tournaments.

11.   What is the financial cost of being on a Select team for a year?

Cost will vary depending on participation in games, tournaments, and need for uniforms.

  • Club fees are $342 per seasonal year which includes fall and spring for our U13 and U14 teams.

*Players playing high school soccer are not allowed to play year-round per TSSAA Rules.*

Club fees include a five day club-wide preseason team camp, one Nike soccer ball, training equipment, TN State registration, Speed, Agility, Quickness (SAQ) training sessions throughout the season, insurance, and club administration.

  • Team fees are $250-350 per season and include tournaments, games, TSL league fees, ref fees, field rental fees, coach's pay, and coach's expenses

Total estimated cost to play for All-In FC TN is $600-$700, which includes club and team fees but not uniforms. Estimated cost for our uniform kit is $300. Our uniform kits are on a two year rotation. We will be getting a new uniform kit for the 2024-25 seasonal year.

A breakdown of costs and payment schedule will be provided at the first team meeting.

There will be fundraising opportunities to help reduce cost. Scholarships are available on a case-by-case basis.

12.   If my player cannot attend a particular tournament, do we still have to pay?

Yes, it is club policy that the tournament fees and expenses are divided equally between all rostered players for that team, regardless of whether the player can make the tournament or not.

13.   How many players on a team?

U19-U13 play 11v11 with 16-18 rostered players

14.   How much playing time will my son/daughter get?

Playing time will be affected by performance, ability, effort and commitment, both at practice and in games. This is a coaching staff decision. Players can increase their playing time by improving in the four areas listed above.

15.   Are players expected to attend every practice and every game?

Yes, if a player cannot make a practice or a game, the coach must be notified with as much advance notice as possible. While it is expected that a player will be at each practice and game, it is accepted that sickness and special occasions may mean a player misses an occasional practice or game.

16.   Are there written codes of conduct for players and parents?

Yes. AIFCTN has written codes of conduct for players and parents.

Player and Parent Code of Conduct -   All-In Fütbol Club - Club Guidelines

17.    Can anyone find out information about our child and their team?

Child safety is a paramount concern to All-In FC TN. With that in mind, our policy prohibits staff members from communicating specific information about a child or team to any individual not listed in the child’s registration information.  We appreciate your understanding.
